Silver Star Lift Report-April 2026

April marks the close of another ski season at Silver Star, and this year’s conclusion came earlier than anticipated. After an unprecedented low snow season, the Silver Star lift officially closed on March 19.

While conditions throughout the winter presented ongoing challenges, the season still offered moments for guests and residents to enjoy time on the mountain. However, it was not the snow and ski year that had been hoped for, as limited snowfall and difficult conditions impacted overall operations and terrain availability.

With the lift now closed, attention turns toward the changing season. Spring at Silver Star brings a gradual transition from snow-covered slopes to trails and outdoor spaces ready to welcome warmer days. The shift in seasons offers new opportunities to enjoy the mountain in a different way.

Looking ahead, there is a strong sense of optimism for both the summer months and the return of winter. Summer at Silver Star provides a chance to experience hiking, biking, and the natural beauty of the area, while anticipation is already building for a more favorable ski season next year.

Although this winter did not deliver the conditions that were expected, the focus now moves forward to brighter days, both on the trails this summer and on the slopes in the seasons to come.
