Silver Star Trail Report-June 2023
Due to the unprecedented amount of snowfall that we received in Park City this winter, the Armstrong and Dawn trails, renowned for their biking and hiking opportunities, are regrettably still inaccessible. The lingering snow at higher elevations has yet to fully melt, rendering the trails impassable. Moreover, at lower elevations, where the snow has receded, the trails remain treacherously muddy, posing potential hazards to hikers and bikers alike as well as the potential to damage the trails. As the month progresses and temperatures continue to heat up, the lower portions of Armstrong and Dawn’s trails will be hikable and we hope the upper portions will be accessible toward the middle to end of June.

After an exciting and snowy winter, Silver Star Ski and Sport is excited to officially open its doors for the summer season on June 30! Their knowledgeable staff will be at your service, ready to assist you with all your outdoor adventure needs, whether it’s biking, hiking, or exploring the scenic trails around Park City. As the days get longer and warmer, it’s time to embrace the great outdoors and discover the excitement that awaits you in Park City.

Mark Your Calendars! Before the official opening, Silver Star Ski & Sport has an exciting event planned for Wednesday, June 28. Join them for the first Cruiser Ride of the season, a fantastic opportunity to dust off your bikes, stretch your legs, and enjoy the beauty of Park City on two wheels. The Cruiser Ride will commence in front of the ski shop and they invite cruiser ride participants to join them for a lively barbecue and live music afterward. If you would like to rent a bicycle for the event, please call the shop ahead of time and make a reservation. It promises to be an evening filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit.

2023 Lift Service Mountain Biking Park City Info
2023 Park City Mountain’s bike haul/lift access bike season will begin June 30th, weather and conditions permitting.
Lifts should run from 10am – 7pm through September 4th.
September 5th – October 1st hours of operation change to 11am – 6pm.

*Deer Valley Summer favorite among locals is the Twilight Ride series. Every Tuesday and Thursday the lifts will run between 4pm – 8pm, June 27th – August 17th. Read more about the Twilight Ride series here.
