Park City Mountain Resort has officially kicked off the 2024/25 ski and snowboard season, opening its slopes on November 22nd. This November has been the coldest on record, and the early winter weather has already delivered a few solid snowstorms to start building up the base. While conditions are shaping up nicely, everyone is hoping for a little extra help from Mother Nature to bring more fresh powder in December.
The Park City Mountain Snowmaking Team has also been hard at work making snow over the past few weeks and will continue to make snow to keep opening as many lifts and as much terrain as possible.
As we eagerly anticipate the transformation of our slopes, it’s worth noting that the Silver Star lift typically opens its gates around December 26 each year, conditions permitting.
