Silver Star Lift Report-January 2024

As we usher in the new year with eager anticipation, we wanted to provide you with an update on the current status of the Silver Star Ski Lift. While we were hopeful for an early start to the season, Mother Nature had other plans in December, and the Silver Star lift remains closed as of now.

Unfortunately, the lack of cooperation from the weather gods has limited the ability to open the Silver Star Ski Lift promptly. However, we have some good news to share! Despite the challenges posed by unpredictable weather conditions, the dedicated team at Park City Mountain Resort has been hard at work making snow and will continue to  make snow to keep opening as many lifts and as much terrain as possible.  They understand the anticipation building among our community, and they  appreciate your patience as they navigate these unexpected hurdles.

Rumors have been circulating, and we’re thrilled to share the exciting news that the King Con Express Lift is set to open its gates around January 5, 2024. As for the Silver Star Lift, we’re optimistic that it will follow suit in the week after. Keep an eye on our official announcements for real-time updates as Park City Mountain strives to provide you with the best possible skiing experience.
